I want to purchase a new mac notebook this week. Right now it is between the 2.4 MBP, the and the 1.8 MBA. Prior to this I've had every macbook under the sun during the past 2 years; 15" and 17" MBP, 13" white macbook, MBA 1.6. I had to get rid of my air because of the core shutdown problems while watching movies. I loved both of my macbook pros and never had a problem with it. What I need is something that will run photoshop, play the occasional game, be able to watch itunes hd movies flawlessly(no skipping, which is really a question for the air). I was also considering a 2.4 MB but someone in the MB forums said the Pro has a superior screen to it.
Which model has the superior screen in terms of quality? Does the 9400 really give the Air a big boost in the graphics department? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
