She's trying to do an iCloud backup and told she only has 485mb left and needs to buy more storage. I've checked her phone and she doesn't SEEM to have more photos than I do or more iTunes music than I do. Her 6+ is a 128G. How do I see whats taking up so much room? Need some help and advice on house cleaning her phone storage. Thanks!!

Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage

Maybe she has old backups that need deleted?

Yep. Found it. She's a photo hog. 3.5G of photos! Told her to dump pics from her phone. That should help. Thanks!

Option two is turning off photo backup so its not part of the iCloud backup. I personally would not want to take that chance so I bought more space but I did it for the kids devices. They understand that not everything will fit within the 5GB of space given. Looking forward to the day when we get space equal to the device size purchased.

I ponied up the 69p per month for 15GB of iCloud space. Otherwise regularly transfer photos to your pc/Mac and delete lengthy SMS/Whatsapp conversations you don't need.
