Ok, i downloaded the firmware update (2.0.1) but was the wrong version itunes gave me annoyingly. So i downloaded from http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware but now downloaded it isn't in a ipod update file. How do i make it into n update file? I remember reading something similar when the iphone update came out on the server firstly, but totally forgot what that might be.

Might of came as a zip file. If your on a mac using safari, it probably thought that file was a zip file and unzipped it, basically then you have to download it again but stop it from decompressing it.

Yeah download again, if you dont want to mess with your settings in safari, use firefox it shouldnt decompress the file and it should just be one file instead of a folder then.
