I got a Canon iP6220 printer with my new imac 24". I'm trying to set it up to print wirelessly. I had to buy a bluetooth device as it doesn't have a bluetooth device built into the printer. I went into my bluetooth setup assistant and went through the steps it brings me through. I scanned for bluetooth devices it finds my printer and when I try and proceed it tells me it cannot pair with it possibly because of a passkey. I set the passkey to the default key that it says in the manual and when I try to go through again it says "There were no supported services found on the device."

Then the next screen says "Congratulations! Your computer is now set up to use your bluetooth device."

That would make it seem like it worked but it didn't. When I try to print it tells me it failed and that I should check to make sure it is plugged in and powered on.

So going back into bluetooth setup it shows the printer there but it doesn't try and print to it wirelessly it only tries to print directly through the USB.

When trying to use either Printer Setup Utility or Printers/Faxes in my System Prefs I can't get the printer to get off being USB hooked. I plugged it in once so my computer would see the printer after my first round of trying to use the bluetooth and it not working. The location of the bluetooth printer is unknown so when I try to print it always tells me it's unplugged.

What do I do? How do I print with this bluetooth device? The bluetooth device being used is the Bluetooth Adapter by IOGear. Setting the passkey to the default 0000 doesn't change it's ability to work either. Any idea? Or anyone run into this problem?

*In addition when trying to use the bluetooth file exchange and browsing the device it tells me the device doesn't have the necessary services. So is this really a device problem or is it just jerking me around? IF it is then what device do I need to have to be able to print wirelessly? I bought the only bluetooth device the store had.
