Little background. I just started playing with OSX and do not have many hours on it. I think I have more hours searching how to do things than actual usage.
My sister net got an iMac and MBP with lion installed.
She wants to set her desktop up so the Documents folder is right there. For the life of me I can not figure out how.
How can I make shortcuts to folders and have them on the desktop?
The other thing, depending on how I navigate to the Documents folder the contents are different. Sometimes a window stating do not have access to the folder and requires a log in.
