I'm trying to figure out how to make the warp flash seen in the Star Trek TV shows in Motion. Does anyone know how to do this, or know of any resources where I can find out how to do this. Thanks.

Nevermind, I figured out a way. I just played around with shapes, and edge softness, and used some scaling to make it flash.
