Here is my dilemma: I wan to get an iPad but with the release of the 3 coming up pretty soon I don't know whether or not I should wait. My main concern is that I want it to last through at least 2 maybe 3 major iOS updates. Do you guys think it will still be supported in 2 years? And (I know its all rumor right now) do you think the iPad 3 will be that much better than the 2. Thanks in advance.

This is the end of January. February has 29 days this year. Rumor has it the iPad 3 will be released some time in the first half of March.

If you've lived this long without an iPad, waiting 45 days or so shouldn't be too much of a burden.

It's really a decision only you can make.

As to how long the iPad 2 or 3 will be supported, why worry about things over which you have no control? Life and technology are meant to be enjoyed. So enjoy! :apple:

Your probably right. I'm still mulling it over so I'm still not sure yet. It'll probably take me 20 days to make a decision anyway so I might just end up waiting :p
