Need some imput!!!!

Hey guys im a new member here i have been a PC user my whole entire life but now after having to replace two notebooks (gateway/ HP dv4) each one after only two years of use these have had either battery or motherboard related issues i have decided to cross over into the Mac side now mainly because i have seen the durability and realiability of any Mac product. For my personal preference i will most likely purchase the 15" MBP 2.0 ghz i have heard that every year they release a buy a mac get a free ipod deal and i want to get in on it the only thing is that patience is not one of my strong suits and im approaching the end of my college quarter when i have the most need for a notebook. Should i try to wait a couple more days and hope they will have the offer by memorial day weekend or ealy June or should i just buy and not waste more of my time.

historically they do it before the end of may, so i'd at least wait till june
