Just purchased new macbook pro 15' 2011 2.0. I want to upgrade to 8gb and a SSD. I just want to know the information about the RAM specification (brand,kind,type..) to buy to change it by myself. And also for SDD. Any help will be appreciated. Cheers

My iMac uses this same memory spec "PC3-10600 DDR3 1333MHz SO-DIMM 204 Pin CL9 SO-DIMM". Are the memory modules interchangable? I have seen this spec for sale online but often uses the term Laptop or Notebook so I don't know if this is the correct module for my iMac. Thanks!

Yes - technically, the iMac (and Mac mini) use "laptop/notebook" RAM and have for the past few revisions - it's more the form factor and size than anything else. Basically, if it matches for the speeds and number of pins, it'll work.
