So I'm planning on getting a used 8gig Touch (2g). My plan was to sell it and buy the 3rd generation Touch when it came out. My question is what are the chances that the next-gen Touch comes out in June when the next gen iPhone is rumored to come out. Should I wait till then?

It is expected to come out in August/September. No guarantees though.

Yeah august/september seems about right. Hey I am still using my 1stgen and am perfectly happy with it, but not sure if I am gonna shell out for 3.0 since it has less functionality for the 1st gen as the previous releases.
