Got a Mac last week, and it's great.

However I need something similar to winrar on windows. I tried the Unarchiver, but it won't work for me.

Please help me.

Whenever I try it with Unrarx and others, it says it's not a rar archive.

There are six bits to what I have downloaded, how do I make them a Rar archive?

You have several rar archives, which are split, to better store them on whatever medium.

They should look like this:

file.rar01
file.rar02
file.rar03
file.rar04
file.rar05
file.rar

Double clicking the file.rar or file.rar01 should extract the files into one file/folder.

UnrarX and Unarchiver are able to unrar split rar files. Maybe it's password protected, or more likely the files (or one file) are (is) corrupted.
