refurbs will look like new.

if ut not happy u can return it within 14 days.

they come with a 1 year standard apple warrenty so no worries there.

up to you!

refurbs are fine. My refurb needed it's keyboard replaced out of the box (one key not registering), which was replaced with some annoyance - Apple wanted it sent back instead of being serviced locally, but I finally did get them to replace it in store. Otherwise, all good, looked 100% new. You've got normal Applecare for a year on it, and it's a recent machine.

You didn't ask anything meaningful like will it work well (compared to an Air or 15" Pro) for specific tasks, but there's nothing wrong with saving a few $ and buying a refurb.

SSDs - 'best SSD' in this forum alone returns 1000 threads, maybe read a few of them? Otherwise, go buy a Samsung and be happy, a $$ used Apple replacement for lower performance, or any one of many other choices. No, you're not going to notice benchmarked differences for most of the drives in real world use.
