Need to change permission on FreeAgent GoFlex Drive

Hello, I got this drive few years ago. When I tried to copy some files from one drive to this drive under Mac OS, I failed because the driver only have read permission. I read that one has to install Mac Installer which came with the drive or GoFlex from Seagate. However, both are not available for download from the company website. Any other good way to give both read and write access to this drive under Mac OS?

Or, if you don't need Windows compatibility, erase the drive in Disk Utility using a Mac-writable format.
