I am giving away my imac to a good friend. I DO NOT want to erase the apps, iTune music and software I have installed in it. BUT I do want to erase all the photos in iPhoto. So can anyone tell me how to clean out iPhoto?
Thanks

Create a new administrator account and delete your old one.

Don't do this or your iTunes music will be deleted.

If you just want to get rid of all the iPhoto files, just go into your "Pictures" folder under your user and delete the iPhoto library in there. Then, empty the trash.

But of course make sure you back it up for yourself.

Hey! Thanks, I knew there was an easy way to do this. I already have my photos on my new lappy. Just to re-assure myself, this will not effect the application, right?
