iPod touch Need to delete certain photo albums from Aunt's Ipod Touch

The version on the device is 4.2.1 and there is no delete option for the photos or the albums on the device itself. Apparently it should be synced to Itunes and then removed. When I try to sync, it warns me that all content will get erased since it was synced to another computer earlier. How do I delete the pics she doesn't want on them? The device does not show up on explorer but is visible on iTunes.
