From what I can tell, I dont think I will benefit from IPS since I dont do any work that really involves needing super accurate colors. Therefore, what are the best dual monitors I should get for around $200/monitor?

I hear a lot of good feedback about the dell ultrasharp series on this site, is this a good fit?

or here is an IPS in 23":

or since I have a microcenter a mile from the house:

thanks for any advice in advance!

I'm not fond of 23"-24" monitors in 1920x1080 resolution. It's a pretty low dot pitch. If you can't afford a WQHD or other high-res monitor, best to keep it to about 20"-21" in Full HD 1920x1080 for a good looking display that doesn't strain the eyes.

I actually like my 23" at 1080p, for me that's right in the sweet spot for a display.

As far as affordable displays, I picked up a 23" AOC i2367 for about $160 on Amazon and it's got a great picture and fits well with the Mac aesthetic. My only complaint with it is that the mount isn't especially sturdy and the display tends to jiggle a bit when I bump the desk at all. The speakers are also crappy but seriously, who uses their monitor's built-in speakers?

There's actually a decent number of IPS displays in that price range though, do some looking and you'll turn up lots of options.

There's also a Dell S2340M, which, too, is an IPS display.
