My mom changed her pin code and doesn't know what it is. I am not asking how to wipe the phone.

I know I can do a remote wipe via iCloud, which is what we plan to do. But what I want to know is... when was her phone last backed up via iCloud? How can I find this information from a computer? I know on the phone, if I were able to unlock it, I can find out the last backup. It was never synced to a computer.

Basically, I don't want to remote wipe it until it has full backed up (which usually happens at night, right?).

Thanks

EDIT:

Also as a follow up, is there any way I can "view" the back up... or see what exactly was backed up (like how many photos, etc)? Thanks.

I am able to see mine in iTunes when I have it plugged in. Does that not work if it is locked?

It has never been synced to a computer. It's set to sync/backup via iCloud.

Are you saying you can see your iCloud backup when you hook it up to a computer? Or are you seeing the last time you synced/backed up via iTunes?

Regardless, when the phone is locked, I don't believe iTunes will communicate with it.

My computer shows the last time it was backed up. I don't know of any other way to see if on a computer. Any other devices on that iCloud account?

Log into the iCloud.com account and see if everything is there.
What do you mean? How can I see if my photos were backed up? Photostream is not activated... I just want to see if my camera roll is backed up. So how can I see if everything is there?

if you have a mac make sure it is her icloud account that is logged in and go to system preferences->icloud->manage and then you can see all the backups being done to that icloud account as well as when the last one was performed. You can also see the list of what apps are currently backing up to iCloud.

edit: i dont know the exact steps but if you have the icloud control panel for windows you should also be able to pull up this same menu as in OS X. Just make sure its on her icloud account not yours.

no problem. It wont tell you when the camera roll was last backed up unless you can view it from the device. However unless she specifically went in and turned off the backup of the camera roll on the phone it will backup all that by default.
