Hey, im in desperate search for a new 2008 Single Quad Mac Pro.

The company i work for desperately needed one. I was just putting an order through for one on PC World Business and when we were going through the checkout out we were just informed that it was just sold. (last one)

So were are looking for other various online stores that sell them, checked the usual, Amazon, Play.com etc. No luck.

The new ones do not meet our requirements.

Best,
Nathaniel

I'll be the annoying one and ask...
Why you can't use a 2009?
Have you tried Apple? i.e. calling them :)

maybe call http://www.computerwarehouse.co.uk/ or http://www.jigsaw24.com/

Hi, the reason why we cant get the new ones is because we need it cheaper, plus we require a 400 fireport (cant use a converter because of the problems we've had in the past with dropped frames etc) plus it needs to have 2 DVI ports not 1 DVI port and messing around with blimin converters for the second output.

tried those 2 sites and found nothing. Still need sites guys.

Best,

John Lewis always seem to have old stock, you could also try ringing all the pcworlds up too, remember the brick and mortar stores often have stock not listed on the website.

http://www.apple.com/uk/buy/ this has a postcode search and will show none Apple resellers in your area.

Other then that I'm running out of ideas for you.
