I'm finally moving over to iPhone 11 after having a Note 4. The Note uses a micro-sim while the Iphone uses nano-sim and e-sim. Do I need to get a nano-sim or will the e-sim be automatically enabled?

It depends on your carrier if eSIM is supported. If you're trying to save on cost, SIM cost a fraction compared to what carrier charge on eBay. What carrier do you have?

If you are a postpaid customer, just start a chat through their T-Mobile app. Tell them you want to activate the eSIM. Get the EID from Settings>General>About and tap and hold to copy the number. They will ask for a pin code texted to your number to verify your account before they will activate it.

Make sure to remove any SIM card, connect to WiFi and then scan the barcode below to add the profile plan.
