Need to get pictures of off phone and onto Powerbook

I have searched and not found an answer to this.

I have a motorola V3 GSM (black one). It works with iSync, I am sure, because I used a USB cable.

Bluetooth won't pick it up as a mobile phone. If I set bluetooth to "any device," it picks it up but as a portable and not a phone and still doesn't let me "Browse Device."

I need to do this because I am going to get rid of this phone but it has some pictures on it that I need to get off of there and onto my powerbook (w/ 10.5). I don't know that there is any other way to do this than with the bluetooth "Browse Device" function.

Help? Either making bluetooth work or a work-around besides datapilot?

if you plug the usb cable in does the phone show up as an external volume because if it does you can just browse it.

Yeah, and the setup assistant never finds it if I say that it is a mobile phone. If I say that it is "Any Device" it will find it, but then it will not browse it.
