Hello folks,

I use Windows 11 and have an iPhone, the rest of the family have MacBook and iPhones.

I plan on connecting a USB drive to the ASUS router ( RT-AC3100 ), to be accessible through the home network, which we all use the same. Please, any tutorial on how to make the rest of the "Apple" family access the network, since I'll be creating the USB Drive access with Windows settings / properties?

Cheers

Format the drive using ExFat. Check wether the router runs the latest firmware. If not, install. Follow this guide to make the drive accessible in your home network via the router settings.
Hello,

I got stuck somewhere. I could not select the connected (exFat) USB drive to create a folder in it.
The circle kept circling for five minutes, and tried it again, it ran for fifteen minutes, then I logged off.

The circle kept circling non stop because my AUSU RT-AC3100 does not support the ExFAT format system.
