need to hack girl's iphone to use on t-mobile

my girl was using her iphone with tmobile using a chip for her sim card. she's not exactly very high tech so i did everything for her, i got her chip and did everything. while i was on a trip to australia she decided to put new songs to her iphone and when she connected her iphone to itunes, it told her that there was a new version for the iphone so she updated it. since then her chip hasnt worked, so now i'm trying to hack her phone to use on t-mobile but without the need of a chip. any advise??

You can't get her phone on T-Mobile without a T-Mobile sim card. Unless you're using a Rebel Sim?

She most likely updated the baseband when she did the update via iTunes. If she is now 2.2.1 then it is un-unlockable (word? lol) unless you use something such as a turbo sim.

You'll need to use a Turbo SIM that works with the baseband that she is on. A quick ebay search with the firmware number and turbo sim should come up trumps.
