This is the background on my issue: I upgraded to Yosemite and all of my non-native apps stopped working and all my settings reverted to the default. After going to the "genius bar," my computer was wiped clean with a fresh Yosemite install. I had a Time Machine backup, so I restored my latest backup to the computer and the issue came back.
After going back to the "genius bar," I was informed that I shouldn't use my Time Machine backup. So now I have to manually re-install all of my software (I'm a developer so this means that 3 years of work and software is now going to swamp me on the re-install). I'm fine with that NOW, but I'm having an issue with Microsoft Outlook for Mac. I'm not a fan of outlook but it's what my job uses.
Issue: Because I wasn't able to export my outlook files into an .OLM file, now my archive of messages, which I desperately need, are stuck in Time Machine. Does anyone know how to bring in all of those emails into a fresh install without that OLM file?
Can anyone help me?
