need to jailbreak 3gs running 3.1 any ideas?

i need to jailbreak a 3gs running 3.1 firmware. i dont know the baseband. i think its the old bootloader too...not sure. any ideas on what progam to use to complete the jailbreak? i also want to unlock the phone. i have a mac computer and have been thinking about using pwnage....what version do i download? also do i build a custom ispw....once jailbroken do i use ultrasn0w for the unlock? Plz heeeeelp! also is ther a tutotorial on this. like iclarified? i havent found anything that shows how to jailbreak a 3gs on iOS 3.1........i cant get to the baseband thru
