So ive decided im getting an iphone but i havnt bought it yet. what i need to know is how to hack/unlock it so i can use all of the same features like edge youtube safari email etc... keep in mind it will probably be the latest version of the iphone since i'm buying it brand new. if anyone could help me i'd really appreciate it.

from what I've read I think the new ones you buy now are OTB 1.1.2 with a baseband that cannot be unlocked for different networks? Also heard something about a steathsim, not sure if that'll help at all. Best thing for you to do is probably Search the forums, I've seen it mentioned a few times before.
whats the price for that and would there be anything else i need to do to get the internet features.

My son just took his OTB 1.1.2 iPhone and had a SIM mod done to it for T-Mobile.
He took the phone to New York and had it done.
Cost him like $60 for the SIM and $20 for labor.
He warned me ....
" Best to take it in person and have it done as the guy had to try three SIM mods to get one that worked. "
As for capabilities, I will get back on that when he returns from NYC on Sunday ( Jan 20 )
