Need to make 6.5GB file to 4.7GB how?

Hi all i have a dmg file which is 6.5GB and need to fit it into a single layered dvd 4.7GB is it possible to do it? if so how?

You could use toast and it's span feature to spread it over two disks.

Its a boot disk though so dont think it will work on 2 disks?

I'm assuming this is Snow Leopard or Leopard or one of the variants for Server...

But to answer that question, no.
