I have my iphoto library backed up on a hard drive and I mistakenly created a new iphoto library on my internal drive on computer. Now when I plug in my hard drive I cannot access my original iphoto library. What steps should I take in order to access my original iphoto library on my hard drive? I would like to replace my iphoto library that has more content with the new one I created on my Macbook Pro

Open iPhoto and select File > Switch to library

I believe it will also allow you to import your old library and combine it with the new one if you'd like to do that. That option is right above Switch to library.
