I have an iPhone 4 that has some dead pixels and I am sending it back to Apple to fix. how easy is it to restore to factory defaults? just get iOS 4.1 and restore? i used greenp0ison to jailbreak this phone.

and do a restore,but do a restore to 4.1 not 4.2

yes restore with itunes as a "new" device if you restore with any backups you can save jailbreak files alerting Apple

iisforiphone is absolutely correct.

Can't iterate enough that you need to set it up as a new phone, don't restore from any backups!
