I realize that I did something pretty stupid by getting into code with zero understanding of it, but I accidentally used Terminal to hide Safari. This isn't as pressing an issue to me as it could be, seeing as I managed to revive Safari in a sense, using Time Machine, but I'm still left with some issues. Firstly, somewhere on my computer there is an invisible .Safari app. I can tell because if I right click certain files, I can select it by that name from the 'Open with..." menu. Secondly, but more importantly, this seems to be preventing me from updating Safari with a file from the Apple site itself.

I realize many people offer the simple solution of a line of code, but so far the Terminal has been unable to locate the .Safari app despite the fact that I can clearly open it at any time. In fact, disturbingly enough I can open Safari and .Safari simultaneously, if that's a tip off to what I've messed up.

Thank you in advance, and you won't catch me messing with code that isn't web design related in the near future, after this. I'm sorry I don't know quite what I did originally but I'll post if I come across it again.
