Need to update Caldigit T3 Plus to T4?

Hi

Just got Apple Macbook 14" last month and wondering what are the benefits if I update Caldigit T3 plus hub to T4 version.

I had some weird glitch when I plug the Caldigit T3 Plus into the Macbook 14 and sleep mode activates. When laptop goes to
sleep it kinda goes into a cycle where the external monitor is awakened several times and then goes back to sleep. Not sure if
this is harmful.

Mine does that, I press ESC like no tomorrow then the display finally wake up, then go into sleep again, then press ESC like no tomorrow, the display would finally wake up and not go into sleep mode again.... I repeat this steps daily... multiple times, don't think it will harm anything.
