need to update MBP/OS X software for bootcamp?

I just got bootcamp on my computer last night. Windows is loading but my network seems to not work. It says I am connected, but I cannot connect to the internet.

Do you think I need to update that new MBP Update 1.1 and the new Mac OS X update in order to get my network to work correctly?
