I need to upgrade my trooper MacBook pro 17", Intel Core2Duo 2.33 GHZ, 3 Gb RAM and 7200 RPM 320 GB HD.

I found a site that is called "Powermax" they are giving a quote on my MBP. Sounds generous, since I have cared for my trooper.

In Mac2sell I found that my Laptop's current price is $1,270.00

Is there any trade-in places you may suggest?

I don't want to do the hassle of selling in ebay...

Any ideas?

Thanks!

the whole point of "trading in" is so they can either make a profit through recycle value or resale value, you will not get anything close to the current retail value. If I were to make a guess, the best you would get anywhere outside of selling it to someone yourself via ebay or craigslist is $300-600 and even then that is very generous.

The price you were quoted seems a bit high to be honest. Perhaps it would have been obtainable before the most recent refresh, but not anymore. I'm afraid that if you know the value of a dollar you're best bet is to endure the hassle of selling it through eBay or craigslist.
