Need to worry about format when filling DVD w/ MP3s?

I'm transferring allot of my music to a friend who uses Vista. I'm going to do it over a couple of DVDs with just plain MP3s.

Do I need to worry about the format of the DVD? The file system is what I mean.

I'm on OSX myself.

Nother quesiton: Iv got some old music backup DVDs lying around. in Get Info it says the format is Mac OS extended, but can the MP3s still be copied to a windows machine?

Just use a 4gb usb flash drive.

Eh that will only be 1/4th the music. Thanks though might use that as a backup plan.


Any ideas with the DVD?
