have a gen 1 apple tv - 40gb drive
want to upgrade - what do you folks recommend?
1 - get 2.5 pata drive (can only find 320gb versions - $130 or so)
2 - get 2.5 sata drive ( maybe 1TB and use ide>sata adapter)
3 - get 2TB external and run through usb (have installed boxee/nito etc)
and...if i go external, how do i set up the atv to use THAT drive for syncing / itunes/movies etc. so all the music/movies show in the main atv "standard" menu (or can you?)
