Need Urgent Help - iSight not detected

I'm leaving tomorrow for five months abroad and I just figured out that the camera of my Macbook Unibody (late 2008) has stopped functioning. Photobooth, iChat and Skype all indicate that 'there's no connected camera'.

I've checked google but without finding the answer to solve this problem. I'm using Lion.

Sounds like either a loose connection or a dead camera mate - hopefully there's some kind of Apple authorized repair centre around where you are traveling where you can get it looked at.

Skype will still work just fine for audio without your camera.

Have you tried a reboot mine does that sometimes and a reboot fixes it.
