So I went and restored my new Iphone I bought from someone, and got stuck on the spinning wheel of death, so I went into DFU mode and tried to do a restore on Itunes, but I got an error 3194. Now I dont know what to do.

Putting "iphone restore itunes error 3194" into Google gives several applicable results.
Summary is you are likely trying to restore to a no-longer supported iOS level. Make sure you're on iTunes 10.5 and trying to load iOS 5.0.1 (not sure if 5.0 is still being signed by Apple)

sometimes when fresh installing it takes a minute if it doesn't kick through try again.
Itunes error means you need to update itunes... if still stuck repeat the restoration and hope it works.
