Is there a possibility to format an external USB harddrive in order to support larger files than 4 GB, and keep its compatibility with Mac OS X and Windows Vista?

FAT 32 doesn't work because it's limited to file sizes below 4 GB, and NTFS isn't supported by Mac OS X!?

I need to share an external HD for film editing (huge files!!!).

Any help?

Thanks.
