Need with Final Cut Pro

Hi
i would like to know how to make the second screen in final cut the same as the first? (check the picture out)
It always saves in 4.3 Please how do i set it so that it saves in Widescreen?

When you put a clip on its in widescreen but as soon as you use the clip it goes into 4x3

Please help as it is driving me nuts
I should say that its Final Cut 7.0 i am using

Your sequence settings are mismatched with what your footage is coming in as.

What settings do you have for your sequence?

You should probably check the box for "Anamorphic" in your sequence settings... that is if your editing SD.

If you're editing HD, then you need to change the format and frame size of the sequence settings.
