Hey i have just started this little company selling computers and laptops, and i have made a website, i would like your opinion on it and what i could add or improve as my traffic is still 0-3 visits a day!!

www.zanim.co.uk

NOTE: this post is not intent for advertisement or traffic collection, i genuinely just want to improve my website as best as possible.

Thanks :)

Load times are long. Design is somewhat disjointed and off-putting.

Main menu is effectively duplicated twice. You have main elements going to coming soon.

How are you trying to drive traffic? Search engine? Some kind of advertising campaigns?

Your menus are a little off as seen here.

And you might want to decrease the sizes of your images.
And your design is a bit too dark.

And your website is very slow:

What webhost you on?

I see crocserve.com

Log into your Cpanel and

Click on php config

Then turn on fastcgi

Yeah i have no idea why but in internet explorer the layout disjoints, iv tried it in all other web browsers and its fine..

You mean decreasing width and height? or file size of images? if so how would that help as the images at the moment fit perfect to the complex grid frame set by Dreamweaver based on the Photoshop slices.

Yeah main traffic should be through search engines.

Yep am on crocserve.com

Phone your host and see if they will change it.
Also see if they will turn on compression.

And ita not just IE Firefox has the problem too.

Oh right okay, what does compression do?

and why is it displaying like that? it looks fine on my comp with all the internet browsers?

Compression decreases the overall size of your website by compressing it ,therefore, speeding your site up.

Your website is down.

ahh okay thanks, and yeah i'm going to switch to a different host.

However how do i resolve the layout problem? when i view my website on all my browsers it appears fine, but on a windows computer it flicks out and dis-alignes from the complex grid. How do i stop this? any ideas?
My website was done with Dreamweaver and PhotoShop both CS5.5

I've made some fixes to my site, is it running faster now? and is it still making gaps between images like before?
