Need your help guys (: Upgrading to new Mbp

Currently i have a late08 Unibody 15" with 2.4 and 4Gb ram 7200rpmHD - 9600GT. Now i have a buyer that would buy it for $1,500 and i want the newer low end 2.4 i5 - so is it worth all the hassle of upgrading and all the little transfers and the extra $250?
Right now i feel that my Mbp is not fast enough and it has a hard time when working with HD videos..

The i5 will be worth it for sure! Especially with HD video! Do it!
