Hello all. I am looking for a cheap ($20 and lower) but good quality bumper. It needs to be light weight, thin, and have good cut outs for connectors (lightning and headphone jack), so I would like you guys who currently own and have used an iP5 bumper to share your thoughts about your specific bumper. I have found many good bumpers, but I seem to never be able to find an answer to these questions. How easy is it to press the volume and power buttons on the bumper? Does using the bumper make the buttons harder to press?

The reason why I want to know this about the bumper is because my case for my iPhone 4S had really hard buttons. The case made pressing the volume and power button 2-3 times as hard, which I got use to but was still annoying. So this time around, I want a bumper case that won't make these buttons any harder/hardly any harder to press. Thanks in advance for all your help :D

All bumpers have a break-in period where repeated presses on the power button loosen it up over time.

Get the Poetic Borderline. I've got it, it's a clone of the original Apple design, looks and feels great.

Monoprice Bumper

I currently have this bumper from Monoprice for my iPhone 5. It is currently out of stock as of right now but when they do come back in it is a great value. The cost was less than $5.

Here's another thread about this bumper with pictures on an actual phone.

Overall, the quality is excellent for the price, and it fits like a OEM. Only minor issue is that the top power button is bit hard to press. Volume buttons are just fine. Hope this helps.

I'm definitely interested in the monoprice bumper, but idk if I want to wait for it to get back in stock.
