Need your input on this Coach Macbook Sleeve Opinions?

Hi community!

I just bought a new macbook pro 15 inch. I have searched in the forums for laptop cases and I wanted something professional that really stands out without being cheap or tacky.

I have been trying to find the Coach Varick Nylon Laptop Sleeve.

What do you guys think of this sleeve?

I've been trying to find it at the stores and online but seems like I can't find it.:(

I think it looks great. What do you guys think? Do you think its too showy for a guy to carry this around the business world?

Seems like the ebay seller is reliable with all positive feedbacks.

So should I buy it?:eek:
 
Its not showy

But I doubt that it'll give you much protection -- if that's true, it would be interpreted as style over function and depending what profession you're in, such an appearance could definitely have a detrimental impact on your career. Long and short from my experience: if, e.g., you're a lawyer, don't over-emphasize your Mac or its aesthetic appeal. Other lawyers are haters.

That is because, the auction for the sleeve still has 9 days remaining.

I have not purchased any designer sleeves, but I have a Loius-V messenger bag(designed for laptops), and it isnt the greatest for protecting my MBP. But it looks CLEAN.

Wow Loius Vuitton would be great to buy. I live in Cali and travel to NY a lot. So I think those kinda cases should fit right in.

I think those Coach sleeve goes for 60 retail. Thats the same prices as Incases sleeve plus. Soo torn...:p
 
If your a guy I would say do not get it. If you are a female, hey it's all you. I would go for a LV instead though

Don't bid on it! I want it and don't make the price go higher... i have my maximum bid at 30

Yeah, it doesn't smack of high design or style. It looks more like a normal, cheap vinyl enclosure with a Coach label on it to me. But, if you like the style and the protection, go for it. Style is subjective. However, if you're buying it because you like the idea of having a Coach branded bag, I'd save your money.
 
My only issue with it, it looks like to put the laptop in the bag the zipper has a fairly good change of coming in contact with the surface. They maybe be plastic or coated and not scratch it but I've always avoided that kind of bag.
