I guess I'm spoiled with my iPhone dinging me up to 10 times when I don't acknowledge an incoming text or iMessage, but I'd like my WATCH to keep tapping me every minute until I acknowledge any type of notification.

Every once in a while, I'll miss a haptic notification on my WATCH when I'm busy lifting objects or don't notice it while typing.

Do you think it would consume a lot of power for the WATCH to do interval taps, and do you think Apple would incorporate that into an update?

I'd hate to keep receiving constant reminders, but to each their own. Everyone has different needs.

It seems easy enough to provide in a future update and I could see Apple offering that as a choice.

Already can do this. Change the Messages notifications setting in the Watch app (on your iPhone) to Custom (instead of Mirror iPhone). You can then set the number of reminders.
