Hi, I am a Nikon shooter who shoots in RAW format (NEF). I have recently tried Instagram and found out that the pictures I've transferred from my camera directly to my iPhone/iPad Pro 12.9 got degraded extremely badly when uploaded(pictures got literally pixelated to something like 100px wide)
I thought it was Instagram problem. Then I tried to upload to Flickr and it did the same thing. Few photos got preserved quality on both apps, but others were terrible.
I figured out why. iOS had been resizing the photo when I upload the photo outside the Photo app. To test this, I've created a memo (native iOS app) and pasted the problematic pictures. They were pixelated.
My question is, if anyone was aware of this issue, how did you manage to fix it? I've noticed that when I edit the file, even slightly, using the Photo app, the problem isn't there as it probably changed the format to some compressed one (like jpeg).
