Hello I am new to the forum but I was reading about the batter life of the MB (I have the 2009 MB). My battery has a negative amperage (-349) even though it is fully charged and it says its on AC power. Is this normal? Because isn't negative amperage mean that energy is coming from the batter o_O but its on AC power as well....

If this has been addressed please refer me to the thread i just did a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Also, I don't know if this matters but I am at cycle count 9 and 96% capacity (Coconut) and 97% (iStats) and its 3 months old. Full Cap: 5272, now 5111.

Thanks for your help!

I'm not an electrical engineer, so I don't know what those numbers mean, but I can tell you that they're 100% normal on your Mac laptop.

Negative amperage = normal.
