Nehalem Mac Pro > which version for PS CS4 & FCP ?

I plan to use Photoshop CS4 and Final Cut Pro.
Since I'm using a Canon 5D MKII I will be editing full HD video files (H.264).
Would you recommend a 2x2.26 8-core or a 2.93 Quad-core ?

For a photoshop machine, I would think RAM would be the deciding factor, which would mean the 8core for the extra slots.

The difference in CPU performance may be far less than dealing with slow disk hits because you maxed out your RAM.
