Hi,

I have a 1.2GHz iBook. It was 256mb at purchase, I installed another 256mb. I use Neo Office. I have found the application to be quite slow in reponse, especially at start up. Would adding a 1Gb sim really make that much difference? I would love a new mac, but have a holiday to save up for.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Rob

Well it would really speed everything up, you would be going from 512 mb to 1.25 mb big jump there.

As far as NeoOffice goes I am not sure (will probably make it faster), but it will speed up anything else you are doing while using NeoOffice.

I have the same ibook with 1.25GB ram. Neo Office is still slow, especially at start up, but it is quicker then it was with less ram. After startup for me, the product works just fine.

I hope this helps.
