I have been playing around with NeoOffice and GimpShop lately and think that the are very good considering they are free and new features are being added almost daily in the Open Source comunity. What I am interested in is are there anymore good Open Source applications? I use Adobe InDesign quite a lot and think it is a great application, is there anything similar to that out there?

I think that I may stick with NeoOffice rather than the new Office for mac as I probably can't justify the expense, especially as a student!

Big thumbs up to the Open Source community, you are what makes computers so great. When I am earning I will definitely donate to you guys, goo work.

These are all great pieces of software but I suppose what I meant was more productive software. Or maybe I am just being picky!
