Any settings recommendations? I'm getting some annoying sound glitches and none of the sound settings I've tried have changed it. It seems to glitch whenever I touch the screen, although sometimes it just does it for no reason.
What exactly are the frame skip, pallette, CPU cycle, and sound buffer settings and what can they do?
I've noticed a problem when entering Game Genie codes. For some reason when you type in the first or second codes the screen jumps so that you can't see what you've typed. Annoying.
I'm still trying to get roms on. I know it doesn't play Airwolf. Frameskip is set to A (auto, I presume). This means that the emulator will drop frames if it gets behind real time. Palette probably means color palette. Not sure what it changes but perhaps it affects game compatibility somehow? Not sure about CPU cycle, etc.
Sound glitches are annoying.
I got the ROMs on easy enough thanks to having my own web server. If you can get them online somewhere it's easy. I've tested 4 ROMs - Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, and Rampage. All loaded up OK, a couple with minor video glitches, but all had audio glitches no matter what settings I used for sound buffer.
Sorry, I wasn't clear..I am trying to get *lots* of ROMs on there. The webserver part wasn't an issue.![]()
So I will admit that I am a noob when it comes to this ROMs and emulators business, but after researching a little before asking, I found that I need to have links end with ".nes"
However, I have many links that are zip files. How do you guys get it from zip to .nes??
And just like that, it's gone from the app store.
You're kidding? Haha.
Me either, considering all that the C64 app went through.
So...bought!
I learned my lesson from the Netshare saga, so I jumped on this right away. If for some reason they let it back in the app store, buy it immediately!
