Nest App - Cam Preview Notification

Hi

on my series 4 I would get either a video or at least a photo clip on my Apple Watch notification from the Nest app ( outdoor camera )

now with the series 5 the notification is simplY text. Any idea why it’s just text and not the actual preview?

Mine is pretty inconsistent. I sometimes Get text notifications and sometimes photos/videos. If I click on the text ones though, it does bring up a video.

The same thing was happening to me. I was getting video clips on my Series 4 then when I got the Series 5 I got text, then a few days later I started getting the video clips again. I'm not sure how or why, it just switched to video seemingly on its own. Until this happened I didn't even realize that I no longer had a Nest watch app...apparently Nest deprecated the watch app and the notifications are coming from the mirror iPhone toggle.
